    AAUA celebrates Entrepreneurship week in grandstyle

    The theme of the Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba Akoko entrepreneurship week 2017 was Entrepreneurship: THINK GLOBAL ACT LOCAL.

    The event which took place both on Thursday and Friday 9th and 10th November at the university multipurpose hall.

    The Thursday edition was an interactive session which started with students who turning out massively for it.

    Professor Sunday Amuseghan was the director of the programme, sitting together with the members of the panel namely: Mr Omoriade Ogundo, C.E.O BE Enterprises; Mrs M.O Obada, Head of bank of agriculture Akure; Mr Ariyo olanrewaju.

    Answering question put forward to him, Mr Ogundo defines entrepreneurship as "the process of identifying a gap and finding means to fill it'.
    Entrepreneurs who are interested in venturing into agriculture were advised to engage in it at a rate that will contribute to the countrys GDP.
    The members of the panel all spoke advising student on various way or strategy to become a successful entrepreneur and adding value to the society "life is a calculus, if you don't differentiate yourself, you cannot be integrated", this was a quote from Mr Ogundu who implore students to always strive to be outstanding in everything they do.

    After various speech, the floor was finally opened to students to their ask questions and a few student came out to pour out their mind which majority of the question asked by students were based on getting finance for intending venture and the panels besieged the student to start little with anything they could lay their hands on and gradually it will grow big.
