    AAUA: PANIC AS STUDENTS REACTS TO ODSG 200,000 TUITION FEE SPECULATION



    Mixed reaction has trailed the speculation of the Ondo State Government to increase tuition fee payable at Ajasin Varsity to 200,000.

    The Information which was signed by the Students' Union President, Comr. Ijanusi Optimum Ohlawhale on Thursday has since circulated through various groups.

    It was gathered that the Union had a closed door meeting with the newly inaugurated Governing Council headed by Dr. Tunji Abayomi.

    Students however can't hide their displeasure over the proposed plan as they pour out their minds through FACEBOOK POST, WHASTSAPP TWITTER etc.

    The statement revealed the Union's stand against the plan by the Governor Rotimi Akeredolu's administration to increase tuition fee in the university not less than Two Hundred Thousand (200,000).

    After heat of deliberation, the Chairman promised to communicate the Union's stand to the Governor.

    The Chairman further added that meeting shall be held with the parents on the 22nd of March, 2018 at the University's Multipurpose hall.

    The Union has then urged the students to renew their trust as the increment would not be accepted.
