Just In: Amasa Firdaus Called To Bar + Photo

Female Lawyer, Amasa Firdaus has now been called to bar by the Nigerian  Law School.

The Precision had reported last month that the University of Ilorin graduate who was denied the call to bar in 2017 because she refused to remove her Hijab has been approved by the body of benchers to use the Hijab.

The Chairman of Coalition of Islamic Organisations on Justice for Firdausa Amasa Abdulsalam and Hijab-related Matters and National President of the Muslim Media Practitioners of Nigeria (MMPN), Alhaji Abdur-Rahman Balogun had on Monday posted on his social media account confirming that Amasa would be called to bar in Abuja, Nigeria's capital on Tuesday (today).

"There will be a Walima In Shaa Allah on Wednesday 11 July 2018 by 4.30pm to thank Allah for this great achievement at the Library Hall, National Mosque. Brothers/Sisters are all invited and encourage to come along with something to share with others. We truly appreciate you for striving for the Deen. May Allah meet us all at the point of our needs and bless us beyond our comprehension," Balogun noted in a message obtained by our correspondent Tuesday morning. 

Feelers from the event has also confirmed that Amasa would be called to bar. She is number 788 on the roll call.
