Ambode Appoints ACP Ojajuni As Chairman Archery Association

Lagos State governor,Mr. Akinwumi Ambode has appointed Mr. Bode Ojajuni, an Assistant Commissioner of Police as chairman Lagos State Archery Association.

As obtained by The Politico, the governor in a letter dated October 16th,2018 and signed on his behalf by the chairman Lagos state Sports Commission, Mr. Adedayo Tandoh said the appointment was for a period of four years.

Ambode added that Ojajuni,who is the Principal staff officer to the Inspector General of Police was appointed as a result of his interest and contributions to the development of sports in the state.

" The state government looks forward to your commitment, dedication and high moral rectitude in the discharge of your duties.
" Please note that the appointment is a voluntary service," the letter read in part.

On his part, Ojajuni who lauded the state government for the appointment promised to do everything possible to take the sports to greater heights.

He added that ensuring the Lagos team got to the Olympics would be the ultimate.

His words: "I appreciate the honour and recognition by Lagos state government, my Association will strive to popularize the sport and take it to the greatest height locally while Lagos team appearance at the Olympics is the ultimate."
