Management of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Ondo State has extend the closure of the edu-portal for the next 2 weeks.

It will be recalled that the portal will be closed last week, 31st of March, 2019 on the school official website, which made students of the school await what the next point of action is from the Students Union and expectations from campus journalists in the school as part of their societal duty.

The extension of the portal was made known by the Students Union through a statement jointly signed by the President, Adesomoju Samuel (Sampraise); General Secretary, Adebayo Jesutola (Tolajay); and made public by the Public Relations Officer of the Union, Babalola David.

"This extension is in connection with much agitations and plea made by the Union leadership to the university management owing to the large number of students who are yet to pay their tuition fees due to one reason or the other."

As against the circular released by the school that additional fee will be added to those who failed to comply with making their payment earlier, the Students union has said no penalty is attached to the extension of the portal.

"We hereby urge all students to make good use of this golden opportunity to pay up and register for the session, as the extension is penalty free.", the statement issued by the Students Union reads.
